Hi all!
PEASANT BUFFET + WARGI HAS ARRIVED! PB is ready to ship and in the warehouse in California :)
We have sent out the BackerKit for everyone to fill out a few months ago. For anyone that hasn't filled it out and is unable to pay the optional shipping amount please let us know and we will correct your account so you can receive your game. Please email [email protected] for a credit to be applied if you haven't filled out your survey yet.
We ask that you all contact Kickstarter as there seems to be an issue with us (Golden Bell) being able to post on this campaign. We appreciate your support in another succesful delivery of a product!
We have many other games coming soon so stay tuned for updates.
We hope the game will be worth the wait and you're all very excited!

Hey all you Peasants!
We come bringing some news you can eat all day at your favorite Buffet! The Peasant Buffet BackerKit was astounding successful! Over a hundred backers came to the rescue and brought this project to the point where it needed to be. We've now secured enough money for Manufacturing and sent the deposit to the Game Factory this week! The game should be in your hands by the end of the year. Remember, the plushies are available now so if you'd like yours please message [email protected] if you got ONLY the Wargi OR if you'd like to pay for Split Shipping of your packages.
Additionally, we have heard some of you upset backers loud and clear, and want to do our best to make amends for what may appear like an all around sucky situation. Please email [email protected] with your BEST OFFER of what you feel you can pay for shipping, knowing that this project is in the red BUT still getting made! We here at Golden Bell promised to cover the other half of the funds for the game and shipping if we were able to raise half of it in BackerKit, which we did! We will check each of you out individually one by one with best offers and will try to accommodate everyone's request. Please just stay reasonable and classy, Folks...we mean, Peasants!

Hey all you Peasants!
Sorry for the slight delay. We bring some good news, and some options!
The good news. The Wargi's are IN STOCK, READY TO SHIP, and just need the shipping charge paid. We are going to open up BackerKit for this soon.
Here is where we are with the project. The game is finished and ready for manufacturing. We are on a VERY tight budget due to the increases MOQs, costs rising in china, and shipping charges. We will be charging roughly $25 for US Shipping and slightly higher for overseas for the game.
HOWEVER, if anyone would like to substitute their game for the Plush WARGI (pictured below!) you are more then welcome to do so!
If anyone is curious about the project's financial breakdown we are happy to share it with you.
The MOQ of the Wargi's were 500 and we manufactured just that. The shipping charges (ocean freight), trucking charges to our warehouse, shipping to backers, customs fees, etc ate into about half the project's budget.
5,000 was paid to the creators and artists of Peasant Buffet upon completion of the Kickstarter campaign which put the project in a very tight spot so we're on very thin financial wires with this project so we need to be very careful with the remaining funds. Additionally, Kickstarter took about 10% of the funds and we had several dropped pledges that their credit cards failed after the campaign ended.
All in all, we should have had a higher goal to account for these price increases, but it was very hard to predict the future.

Updated Print and Play, Production Progress!

Hey Peasants!
The village is still being ransacked but we’ve got a couple of updates to share with you all before we can all get devoured with Bad Moon Rising!
We’re finalizing everything with the game after reviewing the sample with the factory and making sure they print the Wargi token.
We’ve done a few conventions with Peasant Buffet this past March, the Wargi in plush sample especially had a warm and welcome debut! Fans at C2E2 and Pax East loved him! With his sword, this battle hardened doggo will be needed to fight back the horde of monsters on the horizon. Speaking of the plush, the WARGI is landing in a couple weeks in America so any plush buyers will be getting it unless you got the game too then there would only be one shipment unless you want to pay a bit extra to get the plush expedited just email [email protected]
In terms of production, the reps are making sure the files are ready! This should carry into the rest of the Spring and be ready to come to the states as the summer gets rolling and into the fall.

The last big hold up is that the Comic must be printed with the game to save costs. Jeremy has completed the comic book art, so everything is almost there, sorry for that creative delay!
